I was six years old when my father, S.S. Staley, Jr. (Skeen) started STALEY STEEL INC as a structural steel engineering firm. His office was our converted garage at our home in North Dallas, Texas. He eventually became a manufacturer's representative for an open web joist manufacturer out of Canton, Ohio and began brokering the fabrication and installation of structural steel from local Dallas fabricators and erectors. All of Dad's projects were his design.

 

From the beginning my father's customers weren't just clients - they were real friends. They worked together closely helping each other succeed. This simple concept has been the basis of our 50 plus years in the business - real relationships based on honesty, loyalty and a true responsibility to each other. These principles make up the foundation of our personal and professional lives. Our customers are not only the Crème de la Crème in the development and construction industries, but they are also our friends and colleagues whom we admire and feel extremely blessed to be associated with.

 

Today we competitively supply and install structural steel across the entire United States fabricated in our 70,000 square foot facility located on 56 acres in Pilot Point, Texas. Although we may be bigger and more efficient, we're still "Building Relationships as Strong as Steel".
